Wedding Venues AdelaideWedding Venues Adelaide is a directory of wedding venues across Adelaide and South Australia. We put each venue's capacity, ceremony options, accommodation and prices side by side, so you can build a shortlist without opening 30 different websites.
Why we built it
We started Wedding Venues Adelaide to give couples a better way to find the right wedding venue.
Comparing venues is harder than it should be. Of the 30 venues we list, only 4 publish a per-head price, and 7 don't say how many guests they hold. Most directories hide those gaps behind an enquiry button. We show what each venue publishes and clearly mark what it doesn't, so you know exactly what to ask.
Who we are
We're a small Adelaide team, led by Michael Chunys. Every venue page on this site is researched and written for it, and checked against each venue's own published details.
How we research venues
- Venue websites first. Where a venue doesn't publish a detail on its own site, we use its listing on an established wedding directory such as Easy Weddings or Venyu.
- The details that matter. For every venue we record its location and setting, seated and standing capacity, ceremony options, accommodation and any published price.
- We don't guess. If a venue doesn't publish something, our pages say “Ask” rather than estimating it.
- Dated and rechecked. Every venue page shows when its details were last checked. We recheck every venue every six months.
- Our own words. Venue descriptions are written by us from the published facts. We don't copy venues' marketing text.
How venues are ordered
On our venue search, region, style and type pages, venues are listed by how often people search for them by name on Google, using search data from Semrush. Venues can't pay to move up those lists.
How the site is funded
Wedding Venues Adelaide is free for couples to use. Venues can pay to appear in a Featured spot on our homepage, and those spots are always labelled “Featured”. Paying doesn't change where a venue appears anywhere else on the site, and it doesn't buy a place in our picks. We don't take any commission on bookings.
